Job Description:
Objective:
Manages contracts for existing customers and sales programs in MDF and Fingerjoint mouldings. Develops new accounts, follows up and ensures customer satisfaction, as directed.

• Responsible for implementing and managing customer programs as set forth by the sales managers and director of sales
o Customers monthly order volume: make sure customer fulfills commitments
o Prices: update SAP templates as needed
o Ports/Logistics: work closely within TFP to ensure customers receive material on time.
o Products: expand current product/profile base
o Mills: ability to select the correct mill to place order with lead-times: communicate with customer to avoid late orders or oversold positions.
o New profiles: initiates sample request and item numbers

• Key contact for customers inside Terranova Forest Products Inc.
o Develop strong working relationship with customer contacts
o Manage daily transactional business
o Handle routine quotations to customers – program and non-program business.
o Make outgoing phone sales calls to customers to solicit new business, as directed.
• Responsible for initiating PO from customers and order preparation.
o Maintains log of orders received by customer and mill
• Provide support to sales managers and sales directors
o Tracks pricing across markets, customer segments
o Gathers market intelligence, customer information to share with sales Managers and Directors
• Understands production capabilities and product offering and can communicate it with customer
• Act as liaison between the customer and the mills providing timely accurate information to both.
o Tracks order placed with mills for production dates, shipping dates & arrival dates to customer.
• Understands Terranova’s vision/goals and the customers needs.
• Works in sync with sales manager to satisfy customer.
• Alerts sales managers and sales directors of any potential opportunities or problems.
• Pro actively assists in training of Sales Associates on product and market knowledge
• Capable of handling additional product categories if required

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum experience of 3-5 years in sales of millwork products.

Language Ability:
Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) a plus. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS-Word Processing software; MS Excel Spreadsheet software; Inventory software; Internet software; Order processing systems and Manufacturing software. SAP knowledge a plus, will train for otherwise qualified candidate.
